I am very excited to showcase my first office blog with Roaring Spring Water. When this opportunity first was discussed, I wondered how I would fit this into my already crazy busy life, but it quickly became apparent that my love for blogging and sharing my stories, my challenges, and news for a healthy living is something I’m already doing in other ways. Now I get to share this with all of you.
I always look forward to the New Year. It’s like a fresh start, a new beginning on achieving my goals and being the best wife, mom of two amazing kids, and office manager. I do struggle to find a balance among my personal life, business life, and taking time for myself. This blog will be a way to get real and open up about my life, my struggles, and my goals.
Every year many of us start thinking about our resolutions for the New Year. Some are repeats from previous years and others may be new ideas long thought about but never tried. One resolution that never goes out of style; better health and wellness. This is always on the top of my list and another reason I was excited about this blog. Making the simple lifestyle change of establishing a water drinking routine can make you more successful with this resolution. In my blog, I’ll be sharing lots of tips and suggestions on the benefits of drinking water in the morning, throughout the day, and right before going to bed without making it difficult or tiresome. I know, you’re asking what tips. The first one I’ll share is very appropriate to go along with our New Year resolutions. There is evidence that drinking water, especially lemon water, first thing in the morning can help maintain a healthy weight which is often another popular resolution. While drinking water, with or without lemon, is not a miracle weight loss solution, this along with other healthy practices can help. Better yet, it can be your preference of being cold or warm. Make it easy on yourself and have the lemons cut the night before, slip the lemon slices into your favorite drinking container, fill it with water and store it in the refrigerator until morning. This saves me time and assures I’ll actually start my day off with one thing crossed off my to-do-list.
