The kids and I made sure to make Father’s Day amazing for my husband today. He loved his present!
Summer is finally here, and our kids want to be outside all day. Getting them to come inside for a rest and to cool off is a challenge but necessary. This is also a good time to be thinking about dehydration and if they are drinking enough water.
The kids are in their last week of school and we have already started planning our summer adventures!
I love when the Roaring Spring Water delivery drivers stop by work! They are always so courteous and I learn something new it seems each month they stop to deliver our order.
Motherhood is one of the most rewarding things I have done in my life. I am so thankful to be a mom to my two beautiful children.
It was like Christmas the day my garden seeds arrived! I laid out the packets of seeds on my kitchen table, separated them by “start inside” and “plant directly in ground outside”, and then read all the directions. Two hours later I realized that Andrew was right, I ordered too many seeds!
One of my favorite things to do in the late winter months, when I have that rare quiet time, is reading the large collection of gardening catalogs that seem to arrive daily in our mailbox. Daydreaming about the incredible garden I’d like to have this summer helps me get through the last cold, snowy days.
It’s been almost two months since I got serious about sticking to my New Year’s resolutions of striving for better health and wellness for me and my family. Wonder how I’m doing? Glad you asked! Actually, it’s going better than I thought it would and I’m even seeing, and feeling, some good results.
I am very excited to showcase my first office blog with Roaring Spring Water. When this opportunity first was discussed, I wondered how I would fit this into my already crazy busy life, but it quickly became apparent that my love for blogging and sharing my stories, my challenges, and news for a healthy living is something I’m already doing in other ways. Now I get to share this with all of you.
Fall sports season is just around the corner! Soon, student athletes at high schools throughout our region will be working hard at training, practicing, and competing. We can’t wait! Scholastic sports is one of the great traditions in Roaring Spring Water’s service area, and we’ve been proud to be a part of that tradition by keeping athletes hydrated, and, for the past several years, honoring the High School Football “Players of the Week.”
We’ve very proud to announce that our annual competition is back, and this year it’s bigger and better than ever before! Because we’ve had so much success in the past honoring high school football players, we decided to give area athletes from all sports an opportunity to be recognized for their hard work, talent, dedication, and accomplishments. That’s why this fall sports season, we’re proudly sponsoring our “Athletes of the Week” competition! Now, young men and women from any fall sport, such as Cheerleading, Cross-County, Field Hockey, Football, Golf, Soccer, Tennis and Volleyball, are eligible to be recognized as an athlete of the week!
Here’s how it works: Submit a stellar student athlete that you know by visiting our Facebook page and clicking on the “Athletes of the Week” tab. Every Monday, we’ll post photos of the nominated athletes, and the public can vote for their favorite by liking their photo. Every athlete who is submitted and selected as an Athlete of the Week is entered into the Roaring Spring Water Sports Hall of Fame, and the athlete who receives the most likes by the end of the season wins! As an added bonus, if you submit the winning Athlete, you win a fabulous prize as well!
Our “Athletes of the Week” competition is one of our favorite ways that we engage with the special community that we serve. If you agree with us that the dedicated and accomplished athletes in our region deserve recognition for their hard work, then help support the athletes in your life by nominating them as an Athlete of the Week!
